Saltwick Bay, North Yorkshire.
The rocky outcrop called Black Nab dominates this sunset scene, surrounded by a supporting cast of flat rocks that lie scattered on the sea bed.
Located just south of Whitby, this is a popular place for photographers to capture sunrises and sunsets, shipwrecks, fossils and rugged coastlines to name but a few attractions.
Observance of tide times is imperative in this bay, as the sea can quickly cut off any unsuspecting dawdler.
