SUNRISE ACROSS THE EMPIRE

Built in 1897 as a music hall, the Middlesbrough Empire has played host to a variety of performers, from Hollywood superstars such as Charlie Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy, to more contemporary acts including the Scissor Sisters, the Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian!

Since 1991, when it was rescued from its derelict state, the venue has been transformed into one of the countries finest venues/nightclubs, with 3 floors dedicated to style and music whilst still retaining the majority of its external and internal architecture.
